The vice director of a company providing informatics services and another two employees are suspected of illegally purchasing informatics goods from a specialized website, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the Prosecutor General’s Office.

According to the prosecutors, the goods were bought by using data from foreign bank cards, most of which were issued by U.S. commercial banks, without the consent of the card owners. The suspects purchased mobile phones and informatics systems to the value of over 200,000 lei.

The police searched the company’s head office and the homes of the suspects and their relatives and found the objects that were bought fraudulently. The suspects are aged between 23 and 36. They were questioned and charged officially. The commercial vice director was put under arrest for 72 hours.
