Separatists’ group and Russia are guilty of starting the war, Ilascu noted. The war lasted about 6 months, since March till October, when Russian, Ukraine, Romania and RM created “quadripartite mechanism” , to solve the conflict, from which Romania was excluded later. Peace troops created of Russian, Ukrainian and Moldovan solders, were installed along the river to impede the belligerent parts to fight.
