Veteran Dorel Roșca released after being interrogated for five hours

Dorel Roșca, a Nistru war veteran and one of the managers of the Public Association “Veterans’ Force”, who was arrested this morning at the internal checkpoint in Lunga village of Dubăsari district, which is a territory controlled by the de facto Transnistrian administration, was set free, ex-MP Kiril Moțpan announced through his Facebook page, being quoted by IPN.

“After five hours of interrogation at the head office of the Transnistrian mgb based on hilarious reasons, Dorel Roșca was released. He was accused of distributing leaflets near the checkpoints and customs posts of the unconstitutional authorities during the presidential campaign. What can I say? This is mockery! Earlier, Victor Timiș, Iurie Coțofan and Valeriu Mițul, who was buried today, were declared undesirable on the territory of the so-called pmr. Who’s next?” asked Khiril Moțpan.

Dorel Roșca and his mates Kiril Motpan and Constantin Covrig were going to attend the funeral of their comrade Valeriu Mițul, who died on October 2. At the entrance to Corjova village, the veterans’ access was banned by representative of the Transnistrian militia. Contacted by IPN for details, Constantin Covrig said that the Joint Control Commission, the Reintegration Bureau and the OSCE Mission were informed about the incident.
