Ex-aspirant for the office of President Vasile Tarlev calls on the people to vote for candidate Igor Dodon. In a news conference at IPN, Vasile Tarlev said of all the election runners, Dodon is the most suitable one and has the best election program.

The ex-applicant said he analyzed in detail the election programs of all the candidates for President and their capacities. He does not support all the statements and actions of Igor Dodon, but, considering his team, this is the best variant.

“His program reflects real positions that I also share. First of all, I support clear positions on the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the country, rehabilitation of the national economy, support to the national producers, restoration and strengthening of the relations with the CIS and with the Russian Federation as well as with the European Union,” stated Vasile Tarlev.

He considers Igor Dodon is a responsible candidate who will keep the spiritual principles existing in Moldova. “The Head of State must be pragmatic, a man of action and of deeds who is not afraid to assume responsibility for the people’s fate. The Head of State should be ours, of all the people,” said Vasile Tarlev.

The main task of the future President is to take concrete, efficient and urgent anti-crisis measures to raise the economy and society to another level, to the path of swift and sustainable development. “This is possible by meeting such key conditions as constant dialog with society, efficient feedback, support for the reform from industrialists and entrepreneurs,” stated the ex-aspirant for the office of President.

Vasile Tarlev thinks the direct election of the President is an accomplishment for the people of the Republic of Moldova and a historical event. That’s why the voters must exercise this right with responsibility.
