Chisinau mayoral hopeful Vasile Bolea, of the Renastere Party, believes that municipal hospitals need to be modernized and medical staff should receive compensation. In his opinion, the effort of health care employees is not properly appreciated.

Vasile Bolea stated in a press briefing that the inadequate remuneration of workers leads to a massive exodus, and as a result the medical assistance provided to patients is affected.

“As a candidate for mayor, I propose solutions such as compensation for medical staff, modernizing hospitals, promoting renewable energy, allocating funds for equipment and implementing an efficient electronic medical data management system. I am determined to offer citizens access to high-standard medical care”, declared Vasile Bolea.

Bolea was assigned number 14 on the ballot paper.
