USM to implement projects worth over 3m lei with Romanian Government’s support

The Moldova State University (USM) will implement five projects to the total value of over 3 million lei, which will be financed by the Government of Romania through the agency of the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova, USM said in a press release that is quoted by IPN.

The project assignment contracts were signed today at the Embassy of Romania in the Republic of Moldova, in the presence of Romanian Ambassador Cristian-Leon Țurcanu and secretary of state of the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova Adrian Dupu.

The projects will help to create and outfit four university centers: Didactic Geoscience Laboratory “Academician Simion Mehedintsi”; Center of Romanian Entrepreneurial Culture “Virgil Madgearu”; Platform for Interdisciplinary Formation and Research “Vasile Pârvan”;  Center of International Relations, Political and Administrative Sciences “Nicolae Titulescu”.

With the Departments’ support, the USM will host the seventh edition of the International Scientific Conference “Latinity, Romanity”.

The projects financed by the Government of Romania are designed to strengthen the European path of the Republic of Moldova, including in the higher education sector.
