The United States supports efforts by Moldova’s political parties to negotiate an agreement and overcome the ongoing political impasse, IPN reports.
According to a press release posted on the U.S. Embassy’s Facebook page, elected officials should be allowed the maximum possible time and opportunity to reach agreement.
“The Moldovan people deserve a fully functioning government that can resume work on improving the lives of all citizens,” runs the press release.
