A boy under two died as a result of the injuries that he received in a fire caused by a short circuit. Dorina Cruc, spokeswoman for the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the tragedy happened in a house in Nicoreni village of Drochia district on October 29. The grownups were making preparations for the wedding of one of the girls, which was to take place the next day. The boy aged one year and eight months was sleeping in a room, next to the power point. The bed where he was sleeping caught fire as a result of a short circuit. When the relatives heard him crying, they entered to smoke-filled room and took him out. The boy was rushed to the hospital in Drochia, where he died several hours later. A woman aged 75 from Bulboaca, Briceni, was found dead in her bed destroyed by flames. Another woman, of 88, was discovered dead in a house in Solonet, Soroca. Her house was damaged by fire. Three persons were killed in the 29 fires that occurred in Moldova during the last three days. .
