The deputy president of the Cantemir branch of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), Alexei Busuiuoc and Ion Cabac, a member of the youth organization of the party in trhe same district say they quit the party for the Centrist Union (UCM), Info-Prim Neo reports. They are offended of not being included on the party's list for the parliament, and say they are disappointed with the leadership of the party. “The PSD is actually led from outside, and that person will disclose himself only after the elections,” Alexei Busuiuoc said but gave no names. “There are very many persons dissatisfied with the party's leadership, but they are not courageous enough to express themselves. The ones still doubting can find an open door at the UCM,” Busuioc said, adding that other 160 PSD members are ready to follow them. “Busuioc said he was leaving the next day after we submitted the electoral list, since he is not it,” PSD president Dumitru Braghis said when asked by Info-Prim Neo. “Alexei Busuioc was not forwarded by his territorial branch because he does nothing for the party,” said Braghis and rejected the allegations that his party would be ruled by an outsider. Dumitru Braghis became the president of the PSD in December 2007, after the Social Democratic Party led by Eduard Musuc joined the Social Democracy Party. The PSD was created in 2006 by a team of members who had left the Democratic Moldova Bloc after the 2005 parliamentary elections.
