Two police officers of the Centru Police Inspectorate died as a result of an accident on the Chisinau-Hancesti road, not far from Pojareni village. The men were aged 34 and, respectively, 35.

Contacted by IPN, head of the press service of the Chisinau Police Division Adrian Jovmir said the accident happened at 21.20. The car skidded and crashed into a tree. An extrication team was called to take the bodies out.

Speeding is the preliminary cause of the accident. A criminal case was started over this accident.
