Two parties and an electoral bloc would enter the legislative body if parliamentary elections were held next Sunday: the PAS – 31.8% of the vote, the EBCS – 30.3% and the Shor Party – 5.7%. Of the decided ones, 38.5% would vote for the PAS, 36.7% for the EBCS, while 6.9% for the Shor Party, shows the Vox Populi survey presented by the Association of Sociologists and Demographers of Moldova, IPN reports.

If parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, 69% of the respondents would definitely go to vote. Each tenth respondent would probably go. As many would probably not go and 8% would definitely not go.

Asked which of the political personalities in Moldova they trust most, 27.3% of those polled mentioned Maia Sandu, 26.7% - Igor Dodon, 6.9% - Vladimir Voronin.

Asked how they consider the election campaign is conducted, six in ten persons said this is not accompanied by violations. Each fifth respondent considers it takes place with particular violations, while 12% said it is accompanied by multiple violations. The rest didn’t know how to answer or didn’t answer the question.

Each fifth person believes that the elections offer the citizens the possibility of changing the representatives of the power who do not fulfill their promises. Four in ten respondents consider this assertion is partially true, while one third believe this is not true.

36% of the voters consider society would become more united after the snap parliamentary elections. 54% think society would become more divided, while each eleventh respondent could not answer this question.

The sociological survey Vox Populi – June 2021: “Sociopolitical options of the citizens ahead of the snap parliamentary elections” covered a sample of 1,167 person aged 18 and up from 81 settlements of the Republic of Moldova, except for the Transnistrians region. The field research was conducted based on questioning at the home of respondents during June 10-20, 2021.
