Another two persons were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the double murder committed in Hiliuți village of Fălești district at the start of November. The suspects are aged 18 and 20 and live in Sângerei town, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, the two were arrested following special investigative measures and investigative procedures performed by officers of the National Investigation Inspectorate in concert with officers of the Fălești Police Inspectorate.
Two bodies were discovered in a weeded area near the village of Hiliuți on November 4.
It is believed the victims had been lured for an aftergame, following a card game in which the two had won €3,000, reportedly by cheating. But the aftergame turned out to be only a pretext. Four suspects were arrested shortly afterward. Among them are two professional athletes, one of whom is a wrestling master.
