Vasile Cebotari and Vladislav Gudzi secured at least the bronze medal at the European Junior Boxing Championships that are held in Bulgaria, IPN reports.

They are both from Tiraspol and are trained by Anatoly Dovgopol and, respectively, Veaceslav Utica. Cebotari reached the semifinals of the 54 kg weight class after he beat the representatives of Greece and Latvia, while Gudzi defeated the athletes from Estonia and Kosovo in the 60 kg class.

Earlier, Vitalie Prisacaru from Balti qualified for the semifinals of the 48 kg class. In the semifinals on September 24, Prisacaru and Gudzi will play against the representatives of the hosts, while Cebotari will face a Croatian athlete.
