Two bodies for assembling new trolleybuses are being brought to Chisinau, while another 10 bodies will be delivered the next quarter. According to the head of the Chisinau Electric Transport Company Gheorghe Morgoci, the money for six bodies was already paid, while for another six bodies will be transferred this week, IPN reports.
“We made the payment according to the contract we signed with the Belarusian company “Belkommunmash”. The money for another six units of transport will be paid this week. The money is transferred later than planned because the municipal budget was approved with delay,” said Gheorghe Morgoci.
By €10,000 a unit is saved by assembling trolleybuses in Chisinau. The 12 trolleybuses cost the municipality 26 million lei.
Ten trolleybuses assembled in Chisinau last year are running on routes in the municipality at present.
