TV viewers will be able to vote free online the competitor who will represent the Republic of Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest that this year will take place in Liverpool. The score obtained by the contenders will be a 50/50 combination of jury votes and public votes, IPN reports.
To take part in voting, TV viewers will access the link for voting or will scan the QR code posted on the screen of TV sets, registering on the online platform with the mobile phone number. Persons who are abroad will also be able to register on the platform if they have a mobile phone number registered with Moldovan telecoms carriers. TV viewers will receive a confirmation code through an SMS message to the registered phone number. Later, the participant will introduce the confirmation code on the platform and will be able to choose the favorite song from among the ten contestants of the National Final. After the vote is given, the person will receive a message of thanks for the vote.
Online voting between “start voting” and “stop voting” will last for about 40 minutes. The persons can vote from one mobile phone number only once and for only one competitor.
