Turkmenistan is interested in strengthening the bilateral relations with Moldova, especially in economy and the area of innovations. Such a message was delivered by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov in a meeting with Moldova’s Prime Minister Vlad Filat, Info-Prim Neo reports. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Summit of CIS Heads of State that was held in Ashgabat. Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov sent his greetings to Moldova’s President Nicolae Timofti and invited him to pay an official visit to Ashgabat. Vlad Filat and Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov discussed the possibilities of developing the bilateral dialogue in different cooperation areas. The Premier said that Moldova is willing to diversify the economic relations with Turkmenistan and is interested in exchanging experience with the Turkmen partners, including in agriculture. The two officials also spoke about the opportunity of creating an intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation, saying it would be a good dialogue platform.
