Tudor Ulyanovski, independent candidate for President, is committed to opening new markets for farmers, diversifying their sources of income. He promises to create a platform dedicated to the agricultural sector within the President’s Economic Council, through which he will constantly discuss with farmers in order to find solutions and respond to the real needs of farmers, IPN reports.
“My vision for a normal and prosperous Moldova includes supporting agriculture and the development of villages, which are essential for a solid economy and high-quality life,” stated the election contestant.
The former Minister of Foreign Affairs pledges to be actively involved in attracting advantageous bank loans with low interest rates for farmers, through direct negotiations with large investment funds.
“Another priority objective is to build an irrigation system at national level, which will ensure access to quality drinking water for each locality. At the same time, I will request the review of all loan agreements signed by the Republic of Moldova, both internally and externally, in order to identify the exaggerated terms and interest rates that burden the country. Together we can bring prosperity to our villages and build strong and sustainable agriculture, which will be the basic pillar of Moldova'’ economy,” said Tudor Ulyanovski.
