The wrestler of the National Wrestling Federation “Voievod” Tudor Rotari became world champion in grappling in the 80 kg class at a competition in Germany, IPN reports.
Rotari started his sports career at the club “Voievod”. He now studies at the Civil Protection Academy in Russia, the faculty of engineering. In Moldova, he worked as a rescuer-frogman at the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service of the Ministry of the Interior.
Grappling is a king of combat sport that combines techniques used in many disciplines, styles and martial arts. Grappling does not include striking or most commonly the use of weapons of all wrestling events.
