The state-run company Moldova’s Railways decided to temporarily withdraw the trains modernized in Romania from routes, until the causes and circumstances of the March 6 incident in one of the trains are determined, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the company, the internal inquiry goes on. The preliminary conclusion is that the fire was caused by a fault in the electrical generator, which led to its overheating. The final conclusions on the state of the train and the appraisals of the actions of the company’s employees will be presented when the investigation is over.
