Traditional open air concert to take place on Sunday
The traditional open air annual concert, organized by the Embassy of Germany in Chisinau with the support of the Organ Hall and the National Philharmonic, will take place on Sunday, at 19:30, at the Summer Theatre in Valea Morilor.
One of the organizers, the music editor of Sala cu Orga, Jan Tudose, communicated for Info-Prim Neo that this year’s slogan of the concern is “Farewell”, on the occasion that the first secretary of Germany’s embassy, Regina Lochner finished her mission in Moldova. The diplomat and the singer Regina Lochner is the author of the idea of organizing this kind of concerts, at which notorious singers from different countries were invited along 4 years.
Jana Tudose says that this year’s performance will be presented by the Symphonic Orchestra of the National Philharmonic, under the auspices of the conductor Mihail Secichin, the choir of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs “Credo”, conducted by Valentina Boldoratu, the soloist Regina Locher – mezzo soprano, Andrei Otean – baritone and the bass Marcel Rosca from Germany. The program includes creations of Wagner, Mozart, Rossini, Bize and other romantic composers.
In case of rain the quoted source says that the concert will take place in the Big Room of the National Philharmonic.
