The Cabinet approved the transfer of an agricultural plot from the territorial-administrative unit Cosăuţi of Soroca district to the Ministry of the Interior for building a tower that will host a state border surveillance system on it, IPN reports.
The project will be financed by the United States of America.
The beneficiary will pay 21,082 lei into the state budget to compensate for the losses caused by changing the purpose of the plot and will remove the fertile layer of soil and will provide it to the local authorities of Cosăuți for re-cultivating other plots.
The Cabinet also accepted to transfer free a plot of land and the buildings located on it from public ownership to the public authorities of Ștefan Vodă district for setting up a district museum there.
