Tiraspol's delegation to JCC ready to avoid destabilization on election day

Tiraspol's delegation to the Joint Control Commission (JCC) showed its openness to avoid destabilizations during the runoff presidential election this Sunday. This was reported by the official Chisinau’s delegation to the JCC, which urged to ensure calmness and freedom of movement in the Security Zone, IPN reports.

"At the request of the delegation of the Republic of Moldova, made in the context of the runoff election for the office of President of the Republic of Moldova on November 3, Tiraspol’s delegation appreciated the public order measures taken in the October 20 election, which ensured calmness in the Security Zone. The representatives of the Transnistrian region showed their openness to avoid destabilization on the day of the runoff presidential election,” reads a press release.

For this Sunday's election, 30 polling stations were established in 21 localities on the right bank of the Nistru River and in Dubăsari district for citizens residing in the administrative-territorial units on the left bank of the Nistru and in the municipality of Bender to exercise their right to vote there.
