A private three-story house located on Muncesti St in Chisinau started to burn in the evening of December 3. When the fire broke out, the owners weren’t at home and the firefighters were called by passersby who saw smoke coming out.

According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the flames engulfed the house’s roof, destroying 220 square meters of it. The fire was extinguished before it could extend to the residential area.

The circumstances and cause of fire are to be determined.
