Three social projects launched on Gratiesti’s Day
On June 11, on the Great Sunday holiday, when the inhabitants of the Gratiesti commune belonging to Chisinau municipality will celebrate the village’s day, a Postal Office, a Veterinary Center and a new bus route will be launched.
According to the Mayor of Gratiesti, Valentina Partas, the opening of the Postal Office was possible due to the support of “Mail Moldova” state enterprise that repaired and furnished the room offered by the Mayoralty of the commune. For the Veterinary Center the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the State Veterinary Service and also the local administration contributed. For putting into operation the new bas route the road on Prietenie Street was repaired, 2 million lei being spent for the works. As well, in short time, with the financial support of the local economic agents there will be installed waiting stages, and the municipal enterprise “Lumteh” will finish the next week the illumination of this street.
The mayor mentioned that until autumn 2006, in a village from the commune will be opened a gas pipe and the village’s school. Both projects amount to about 1 million 600 hundred lei. As well an important project, that already started, is constructing the sewerage system for which about 6-7 million lei are needed. Valentina Partas says that, at the moment, there are no sufficient financial resources for its construction, but the local authorities collaborate with several international bodies in order to receive supplementary financing.
The schedule of the celebration events includes sports contests, football matches, exhibitions, a festivity concert with the slogan “I sing for you, my dear village”, at which the singers of the village will perform.
