The Party of Regions of Moldova led by Mihail Formuzal, the Socialist Party of Moldova headed by Victor Morev, and the Party “Moldova’s Patriots” led by Mihail Garbuz announced the launch of the information campaign “No vote for parliamentary parties”.
The leader of the Party of Regions of Moldova, Governor of Gagauzia Mihail Formuzal told a news conference that the parties of the current legislature didn’t fulfill their promises and do not deserve to be supported in elections. This opinion was supported by the representatives of the other two parties who held the news conference, IPN reports.
Mihail Formuzal said that a number of polls show the same parties as in 2010 will enter Parliament after this year’s elections, but he is convinced that the voters have an alternative and should support other political parties so as to give them the chance to improve the situation in the country.
The campaign will be carried out through social networking sites, by seminars and roundtable meetings and by informative brochures by which the people will be urged not to vote for the ruling parties and the parties that are now in the opposition.
Mihail Formuzal is sure that at least two new parties will enter the next legislative body. He is not yet sure that the Democratic Party and the Liberal Party will pass the election threshold.
The parliamentary elections will take place on November 30.
