In January and February 2007 the budget of Chisinau has received basic revenues of about MDL 218 mln, representing 165.4% of the estimated one. In comparison with the previous year the growth is of 64%. The head of Finance Division, Tatiana Cunetchi, said during an operative meeting at the City Hall, on Monday, March 12, that daily accumulation are of MDL 5 mln in comparison with MDL 3 mln during the same period of last year. The cashing of the special means of public institutions from the state budget in these 2 months constituted approximately MDL 7mln, from special funds – MDL 0.7 mln and MDL 15.9 mln from capital transfers. At the same time the expenditures that have been made in the reported period were of MDL 99 mln, with a rate of 64% of those which were planned. In comparison with the last year the increase constituted MDL 17.9 mln (or 9.8%). The basic expenses of the municipal budget of the first 2 moths of this year represented 98% (MDL 195 mln) of the total amount of money to be administrated. For salaries were allocated MDL 69 mln, or 85% of those estimated, with a rate of 35% of the total amount of the expenditures made from the municipal budget. In reference to communal-dwelling and to land administration divisions the expenses constituted about MDL 55.1 mln, or 71.7% from those foreseen for this specific period. For repayment of the loan for financing the budget’s deficit of the previous years, MDL 30 mln were allocated from the local budget, from which MDL 27.4 mln basic loan and MDL 2.9 mln for the interest.
