The price for grapes increased, and for beef fillet and carrot decreased

Last week, the average price for grapes increased with 23%, and for the carrot and beef fillet prices decreased with 23% and 5%. Last week, the price for grapes on the majority of markets monitored in Moldova increased with 21.7%, from 31.0 lei/kg to 37.8 lei/kg. The cheapest price in this period for grapes was in Edinet, 27.2 lei/kg, and the most expensive in Chisinau – 48.3 lei/kg, according to the survey made by the National federation AGROInform within the Program „Alliance for supporting agricultural market. In the same time, the carrot was sold in average at a price of 6.2 lei/kg, registering a fall of about 23.1%. The cheapest price for carrot last week was on three markets – Chisinau, Balti and Edinet, at the price of 5.5 lei/kg, and the most expensive - in Causeni, 7.3 lei/kg. In the same period, the price to beef fillet was 61.8 lei/kg, reducing with 4.7%, compared to 64.8 lei/kg last week. The cheapest, in this period, the beef fillet was sold in Edinet at the price of 47.5 lei/kg, and the most expensive – in Chisinau 78.3 lei/kg. According to the survey, the prices to these goods are higher abroad, the survey presenting as well prices in Iasi, Odessa and Saint Petersburg.
