The head of the Preventive Medicine Centre of Chisinau, Iurie Panzaru, requested the Chisinau district mayors to forgo the pressures over the institution he runs. Panzaru declared he will not obey their orders of penalizing certain economic units. He made clear that these kinds of pressures have a continuous and subjective character, refuting them by the phrase, quoted by Info-Prim Neo: “The Preventive Centre of Medicine is not a “puppet” organization and has a clear subordination”. Panzaru made these declarations publicly at the operative meeting of the Mayoralty, on the background of the presented information which showed that over the last week 224 economic units were penalized for anti-sanitary conditions of the administrated territories from the total of 2200 verified economic units. Panzaru qualified “totally unfavourable” the sanitary situation of the city even after the two months sanitation campaign. According to him, at present, the situation is practically unchanged, comparing to the last week, saying that the Autosalubitate Management repaired and cleaned only 33% of the public toilets, the Association of Green Spaces Administration set up only 37% of the necessary trash bins in the Chisinau parks and squares and the Communal services Management continues to ignore waste accumulation territories. The most unauthorized waste accumulation territories found in the localities of the municipality were not cleaned during the last week inclusively in the Bubuieci, Budesti, Tohatin, Cruzesti communes, Durlesti and Vadul lui Voda towns. At the same time, the waste evacuation schedule of the particular areas was broken. The deputy chief of the Communal services Management, Petru Gontea, has a different opinion, declaring at the same operative meeting that the city benefited of double sanitation: first, the employees of the municipal administration of the living spaces enterprises (APLP) cleaned their territories, and afterwards they were cleaned the Communal Services Management, a fact that significantly changed the aspect of the city.
