From Monday, March 24, the thermal season 2024-2025 is declared closed for all consumers. The announcement was made by the Chisinau City Hall, IPN reports.

According to the provision issued by the municipality, thermal energy suppliers - "Termoelectrica" and "Apa-Canal Chisinau", will ensure the shutdown of the objectives of the housing fund, educational and medical institutions from the centralized district heating system, according to the contractual provisions, based on their request.

At the same time, the sector prices, the General Directorate for Housing and Urban Planning, the managers of the housing fund, with any form of ownership, economic agents and other heat energy consumers will ensure, upon request, the disconnection of the objectives from the district heating system.

Consumers in Chisinau will continue to be provided with centralized domestic hot water, the source said.
