On 11-14 May 2006, the 6-th edition of the education specialized republican exhibition “Alma-Mater. Education. Carrier. Society - 2006” will be held in Chisinau. The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and will take place at the National History Museum of Moldova. At the exhibition are invited the most representative pre-university, university, and post-university education institutions of Moldova. 30 pre-university institutions of the General Education, Youth and Sport Department of Chisinau municipality have already announced their participation. The exhibition has as goal propagation of achievements of education system and initiation of cooperation with abroad education institutions. Previously, at the exhibition education institutions of Romania participated as well. There will be showed achievements of education institutions, regarding the quality of education, methodic and didactic editing. The creation centers will show their results of out-of-school activity, and sports schools – their preparing to Olympic Games of Beijing in 2008. There are included as well in the exhibition organization, on 12 May, a round table on the topic “The European integration processes and quality education problems”, which will also be held in the headquarters of the National History Museum. The leadership of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, the representatives of profile parliamentary commission, as well as those of the republic education institutions are also invited to the exhibition.
