The joint stock company Termoelectrica as from Decembers 2 will be managed by an acting director general. This is Vasile Leu, Doctor of Technical Science with over 25 years’ experience in the energy sector, IPN reports.

“I encourage you to adopt principles of transparency, to promote new values and exemplary corporate management,” director general of the Public Property Agency Eugeniu Cozonac said when presenting Vasile Leu to the staff of Termoelectrica.

Vasile Leu said he will lay emphasis on the functionality and solvency of the company, cooperation with the central and local authorities and efficient management of the debts accumulated for natural gas consumption.

Termoelectrica director general Veaceslav Eni completed his duties on December 1. Veaceslav Eni has held the post of director general for six years, during three consecutive terms.
