"Termocom" JSC has switched off 51 apartment blocks from the hot water supply and central heating system, due to their debts. The actions are part of a debtors’ warning campaign. According to the company, in May, 40 apartment blocs with big debts were warned about the cutting off risk in case of debts non-payment. Later, 21 blocks, which did not pay their debts, were switched off – 4 blocks of the district Center, 5 blocks of the district Rascani, 9 – of Botanica and 3 – of Buiucani. At the same time, the supplier informs that, in June, because of the same reason, other 30 blocks of 50 warned were switched off – 9 blocks of Ciocana, 10 blocks – of district Rascani, 7 blocks – of Buiucani and by 2 blocks – of districts Centru and Botanica. The supplier announces that the above-mentioned activities will continue if the debtors do not pay the debts or do not present a payment schedule. The debts of consumers to the central heating supply, including historical debts, amount to 450 million lei.
