A 37-year-old man from Sangerei district was sentenced to ten years' imprisonment for beating his wife to death, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office. The husband and wife drank together alcohol. At a certain moment, the man started to brutally beat the woman, punching and kicking her for abusing alcohol. Two of the couple's children saw what happened. The ambulance was called in several days. The woman, who was the mother of four, died in the hospital.
