Teleradio-Moldova has become the official UEFA broadcaster for the matches played by the national team until 2028 and for the EURO 2024 and EURO 2028 championships. This was announced by Teleradio-Moldova director general Vlad Țurcanu in a press briefing.

“After several months of negotiations with UEFA, we managed to bring two major competitions to public television. I’m talking about the European football championships of 2024 and 2028. Also, all the matches of the Moldova football team will be broadcast on Moldova 1", said Vlad Țurcanu.

The first home match, Moldova-Albania, will be broadcast on November 17, starting at 19:00.

Victor Reniță, sports coordinating director, stated that a team of very good commentators will be provided for all the matches that will be broadcast.

Andrei Zapșa, deputy general director for development, said that the agreement with UEFA is a significant first step for the team in transforming what Teleradio-Moldova means today, and the television will continue to bring productions as attractive as possible to viewers.
