The procedure for testing and improving the telemedicine platform telemed.chinau.md is over. The information was confirmed at the meeting of officials of municipal services of Chisinau by the head of the Health Division Vladimir Bolocan.

The platform will contribute to the creation of a system accessible to all citizens, regardless of their whereabouts, said Bolocan.

The municipality noted that the platform will be presented to specialists.

"We will make public presentations in several medical institutions to tell family doctors and managers about the possibilities of the platform and, last but not least, about its functionalities. We are talking here about the possibilities of creating virtual offices, having remote consultations, issuing electronic prescriptions and reducing visits for routine prescriptions," said the head of the capital's Health Division.

The platform will be available to everyone, regardless of the locality, and interested public authorities and medical institutions can request the organization of explanatory sessions, IPN reports.
