A new water polo tournament in memory of Alexandr Boltramovich was held in Chisinau. The competition involved five teams from Chisinau and one from Kharkov, IPN reports.

The senior teams Neptun and Imperial Sport contested outside the competition because the tournament is intended for juniors. The team of the Water Polo School No. 4 “Gheorghe Osipov” emerged victorious, alongside Delfin and Navigator.

Alexandr Balandin became the top scorer of the competition. Dumitru Nichitin was named the best goalkeeper, Alexandru Ursu the best fullback, Ignat Maimulin the best halfback, while Constantin Selaru the best striker.
