The National Integrity Authority found a difference of over 500,000 lei between the acquired wealth and the income obtained by an official of the State Fiscal Service and his wife. The Authority will send the case to court requesting the confiscation of the unjustified property, IPN reports.
By a final judgment, the civil servant may be barred from holding a public office or office of public dignity for a period of three years from the time when the property is found to be unjustified.
He will be required to submit corrected declarations of assets and personal interests.
