President of Moldova Vladimir Voronin signed the decree on the appointment of Tatiana Lapicus as Permanent Representative of the Republic of Moldova, with rank of Ambassador, to the United Nations Office at Geneva, the presidential press service announces. The decision was approved by the Government earlier on August 22. Tatiana Lapicus served as deputy minister of Tourism and Culture, and earlier as director general of the Tourism Development Department.
