Sweden will provide about US$4m in financial assistance to Moldova
Sweden will offer Moldova 28 million kronor (about US$4 million) to implement social projects through the agency of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Iurie Leanca said the Government of Sweden provides the assistance in a move to help the Moldovan authorities implement vital economic and social reforms.
He also said that the assistance provided by Sweden will now total US$15 million. The Government of Sweden co-finances projects implemented by Moldova's Social Investment Fund, projects in education, healthcare, social assistance, labor market and other areas.
