The surveillance systems of the National Army did not detect any act of unauthorized entering of the airspace of the Republic of Moldova. The Ministry of Defense came with clarifications in this regard following reports about the possible overflight by a Russian missile, IPN reports.

"Following the necessary clarifications made with neighboring countries (Romania, Ukraine), it was found that the radars did not detect aircraft that would follow such a trajectory," noted the Ministry of Defense.

Ukrainian press reported that more than 40 missiles were launched by Russian on Wednesday morning, targeting energy facilities and objects of gas infrastructure. One of the missiles allegedly flew over the north of the Republic of Moldova.
