Customs officials, in collaboration with border police officers, conducted a thorough inspection of passenger luggage on the Chisinau-Tel Aviv route. They discovered two undeclared bars, suspected to be gold, in the possession of a 60-year-old non-resident, IPN reports.
Simultaneously, during the inspection of postal shipments in transit to Israel, pharmaceutical preparations containing anabolic substances were found. The shipment of such substances via mail is prohibited under current legislation.
Both cases are currently under investigation by customs officers, who are working to establish all the circumstances and apply appropriate legal measures.
