The surgical block of the Hancesti District Hospital and the Emergency Medical Assistance Center have been fully renovated. The investments made in the rehabilitation of the block totaled about 13 million lei, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM), the renovation works were co-financed by the local public administration and the CNAM. The district council has allocated about 7 million lei, while the CNAM - approximately 6 million lei from the fund for modernizing public medical institutions.
The renovated surgical block has a capacity of 110 beds and includes anesthesia, intensive care, imagistic, surgery and traumatology sections.
