The Supreme Court of Justice today postponed until Wednesday its hearing of the Communist Party's appeal against the decision to recount votes for the Chisinau City Council, Info-Prim Neo reports. The postponement was requested by the applicants themselves. This will allow PCRM time to collect additional evidence, Communist Party's lawyer Sergiu Sirbu explained. In reaction, Liberal Party's attorney Ion Casian said the Communist Party was attempting to protract the proceedings because they didn't have any solid evidence. The hearing on Wednesday is due to start at 4:00pm.
