Supplemental Baccalaureate session has started
Forty-two candidates applying for Baccalaureate diplomas and 18 secondary school graduates take the first exam of the additional session on Wednesday, July 1. They could not take the exam earlier together with their colleagues for health reasons.
Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, the deputy director of the Education Ministry’s Assessment Division Valentina Miron said that these students were allowed to take one or several exams of the basic session after they presented medical certificates.
All the exams in the supplemental session will be held in one Baccalaureate center – at A. Mateevici College, including for the students from outside Chisinau. The tests will be sent by the same method as at the start of June – by email. The exams will take place once in two days in the same order as during the basic session.
Valentina Miron said that the risks of technical glitches will be avoided as the tests will be accessed at a single center and the network will not be overloaded.
The number of students that will take exams during the additional session this year is lower than in 2008 because last year the repeat Baccalaureate session for the university students of the first compensatory year was held in the same period. This year, the repeat session will take place in August.
