Students who failed BAC exams may repeat attempt next year
The students who failed to pass this year's Baccalaureate (BAC) session will be able to repeat their attempt next year. An exception are the students who are attending qualifying university courses. For them the repeat session will be held between July 4 and 16, and so will be for the students who produced plausible excuses for the failure to attend the first examination session, Valentina Miron, an official at the Ministry of Education and Youth, told Info-Prim Neo.
According to her, those who graduated from high schools but were not able to take the BAC exams may instead apply to vocational and professional schools.
This year there were opened 46 BAC examination centers in Chisinau out of a total of 155 across Moldova. The BAC session began on June 3 and ended on June 17. The results were announced on June 30, with a 48-hour exam appeal period.
