The organizers of street protests against the government do not have a well-thought-out plan and this can lead to the power being taken over by extreme left forces that will foil the European course. Such conclusions were formulated in the talk show “Politics” on TV 7 channel, IPN reports.
Anatol Taranu, director of the Center of Strategic Research and Political Consultancy “Politicon”, said we are in a very difficult situation and there is a risk that the power will be taken over by pro-Russian forces. “Those from the civic platform “Dignity and Truth” say “Down”, but do not say who should come up. If they assume responsibility for reaching the critical point, when the current administration will be ousted, they should be ready. The situation in our country is more difficult than in Ukraine. There, former President Yanukovich discredited himself by not wanting to sign the Association Agreement with the EU. In our country, the whole government that declares itself pro-European discredited itself,” he stated.
Political analyst Nicolae Chirtoaca also considers there is a risk that the power will be seized by forces that are hostile to Moldova. “The beginning of this century is marked by colored revolutions. The organizers of the antigovernment protests must realize that such revolutions always result in a force taking over the power. In our country the risks are enormous. The protest organizers didn’t prove they are a force that can guarantee that the power will be taken by the appropriate forces,” he said.
The head of the public association “Justice and Democracy “Pavel Midrigan said the masses revolt against a corrupt government and these masses should be directed, but there are no suitable leaders.
Political analyst Alexei Tulbure said the corrupt government can be replaced only by street protests. “This does not mean that we must throw stones and set fire to buildings. I don’t see democracy in our state. There are only sparks of democracy on the part of the mass media,” he stated.
