Stella Jemna has been appointed as the new country representative for Moldova in the Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF), an international investment fund.
“With her extensive experience in project management and deep knowledge of government relations, Stella brings a wealth of expertise to the organization”, the fund said in a press release.
Stella Jemna is a seasoned project manager with over 15 years of cross-industry experience in media, non-profit, and government sectors. Throughout her career, she has successfully delivered a wide range of projects, showcasing her skills in policy implementation, stakeholder coordination, and government affairs. Prior to joining WNISEF, Jemna held the position of Chief of Staff in the Prime Minister’s Office of Moldova.
WNISEF is a $285 million regional fund, a pioneer in Ukraine and Moldova with over 29 years of experience in investing in small and medium-sized companies. WNISEF was funded by the U.S. government via the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Since its inception, WNISEF’s cumulative investments total over $188 million to 136 companies employing around 26,000 people and made it possible to unlock $2.3 billion for companies in Ukraine and Moldova.
