State Weather Service gets new director

The Government today appointed Mihai Roibu as director of the State Weather Service. The post fell vacant after the predecessor, Ilie Boian, was dismissed over sexual harassment allegations.
Also today the Government accepted Radion Bajureanu's resignation from the post of Deputy Minister of Environment, replacing him with Valentina Tapes, a professional with experience in the field.
Veaceslav Untila, a former deputy interior minister and MP, was appointed head of the State Ecologic Inspectorate.
