State Budget revenues beat forecasts by 14.7%
State Budget revenues in the first quarter of this year made up about MDL 3 bln, which is a 395.4 mln or 14.7% increase compared to official forecasts. According to data from the Ministry of Finances, the receipts in the first three months of 2007 increased by MDL 943 mln or 44.1% as against the similar period last year.
Out of the total volume of state budget revenues, the basic budget revenues made up about MDL 2.8 bln, which is a 20% increase in the given period. In comparison with the same period last year, the basic budget revenues rose by MDL 938.6 mln or by 50.3%.
The daily average revenue in January-March 2007 amounted to MDL 45.2 mln, compared to MDL 29.2 mln in the same period last year.
State Budget expenditures totalled in the first quarter about MDL 3 bln, or 80.6% of the level planned for this period. Compared to the indexes of the similar period last year, state expenditures increased by about MDL 1 bln or by 56 % in the first quarter of 2007. The basic expenditures of the state budget made up about MDL 2.7 bln, increasing by MDL 1.07 bln or by 65.4% as against 2006.
