State budget exceeded targets by 11%
In the first months of 2006, in the state budget were accumulated a sum amounting to 3 billion 271.6 million lei of basic income, which is by 10.8% more comparing to the plan for this period. Comparing to the same period of the last year the budget increased with 484.1 lei or by 17,4% and the expenses increased by 20.4%.
According to the Ministry of Finance, quoted by Info-Prim Neo, the daily average accumulations constituted 31.5 billion lei, while the value of this index constituted 27.1 million lei daily within the same period of the last year.
In order to implement the investment projects, during January-April 2006, there were attracted grants from foreign donors amounting to 76.7 million lei.
At the same time, from the budget were taken 3 billiard 359 million lei for expenses. Comparing to January-May of the last year an increase of 569.8 million lei or by 20.4 % was registered.
The basic expenses of the budget for the same period of time constituted 2 billion 858.8 million lei, increasing by 535.5 million lei or by 23.0% comparing tot the similar period of 2005.
In order to honor the obligations on foreign loans of Moldova, during the reported period and according to the settled schedule there were performed foreign payments amounting to 20.7 million USD or to 268.9 million lei. Of which, 10.9 million USD (141.1 million lei) were paid for covering the loans, and 9.8 million USD (127.8 million lei) for the payment of the foreign loan’s interest. For covering the internal debts were used 58.3 million lei.
